The President’s Children Brought in to the Gun Control Controversy

I do not agree with the ladies of The View about National Rifle Association’s add. I saw the same reaction on the Facebook page of a popular radio gospel music host. I do not think it is inappropriate, bad taste or nuts to bring the President’s children and/or children of public officials into the gun control controversy who go to school protected with armed guards.

The NRA’s argument is not about taking the armed protection away from the President’s children. It is about having armed protection for other children while Pres. Obama does not think it is at all necessary. The Sandy Hook Elementary School was in a gun free zone. The Sidwell Friends School were the President’s two daughters attend has constant protection through guns.

Tops in Strong Gun Control and Murder/Gang Violence

Think about it! Criminals do not obey the gun laws. They will always circumvent the strictest of gun laws, get their stash of guns and go on to shoot and kill. The biggest example is the city of Chicago, which is topping other U. S. cities in experiencing the most gun violence.  Just recently Chicago police had to deal with 13 shootings within a 30 minute time span. Read more about that here.
