Holy Holy Holy

John Starnes

Revelation 4:8

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

“Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!”

Did You Get This One?

Can you get this one? I had a hard time even after I was given an important clue. One of these equations did not transform into the intended image in my mind and that threw me off, because I worked on that equation first. I saw it as a different image. When I left it and worked on the two other equations, I realized the first answer and finally got this brain meme.

If you did not get the clue in the post, I will give it later in the comments section.

Choosing to Ignore the March for Life, Again!

FBMeme_Liberal Logic 101_MSMCensor1

It looks like a good portion of main stream media chose to ignore the March for Life again! A big deal is made of college football player, Manti Te’o’s imaginary girlfriend to the point that it is a major discussion on TV news programs for days. Katie Couric gets hive fives for nailing the first interview with Mr. Te’o. Hundreds and hundreds of thousands take part in the March for Life against abortion on Friday, Jan. 25th and Fox News is just about the only media outlet that gives the March any news coverage. I do not think C-Span even bothered to cover it.

I did not know anything about the March for Life until I started watching Fox News when my cable company starting airing the cable news station in 2001. Just think, the March for Life came into being in 1974 against the 1973 Roe vs Wade Supreme Court pro abortion decision! The march against abortion is more than equal to the Manti Te’o story. With the Obama administration being so pro-choice/death (baby killing), the media news folks should be presenting the dissenting position.

I Watched It.

There were many ‘I am not watching the inauguration’ comments on Facebook. No sour grapes here; so, I did watch it. I grew to love the pomp and circumstance of the presidential inaugurations regardless of who won the presidency. I enjoyed all the music, especially the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, who sang the Battle Hymn of the Republic. I spotlight this choir from time to time in my Sunday music posts.

I did not care for the President’s speech at all. The speech amounted to a call for a revolution for soaring government control. Unfortunately too many people today are for such a revolution. With the help of non voting conservatives, Pres. Obama has more power in an undeserved 2nd term to give government more control of our lives.

A few of my Democratic liberal/lefty FB friends are so jubilant over a 2nd Obama presidency that they can hardly contain themselves. They feels the Republicans are toothless and will not be able to achieve anything against the Obama administration. Call me crazy, but I still think they can achieve against the Democrats.

The President’s Children Brought in to the Gun Control Controversy

I do not agree with the ladies of The View about National Rifle Association’s add. I saw the same reaction on the Facebook page of a popular radio gospel music host. I do not think it is inappropriate, bad taste or nuts to bring the President’s children and/or children of public officials into the gun control controversy who go to school protected with armed guards.

The NRA’s argument is not about taking the armed protection away from the President’s children. It is about having armed protection for other children while Pres. Obama does not think it is at all necessary. The Sandy Hook Elementary School was in a gun free zone. The Sidwell Friends School were the President’s two daughters attend has constant protection through guns.
