The Vitriol Blame is Misplaced!

I cannot believe how a good portion of those on the liberal left are going off on the deep end on blaming the Arizona shooting carnage that killed people including a child and hideously wounded others, most notably, Blue dog, Democratic Congresswoman, Gabrielle Giffords on the vitriol coming from the right-wing talkers and politicos. Really, as if there is no vitriol coming from the left these days! For me, MSNBC’s and radio talker, the combustible Ed Schultz, and Keith Olbermann immediately  comes to mind. From what I have read and heard on the radio and TV, the suspected shooter, Jared Loughner is a very deranged man. His high school and community college class mates claims he is a “left-wing pothead.” Reports say he is into Mein Kampf and the Communist Manifesto, currency standards and English grammar. This misplaced blame appears to be a course taken by the left to gain some political traction, since being repudiated in the Nov 2010 elections.

Jared Loughner’s drug use, relationships within his family circle, and other personal indicators that contributed to his state of mind should be the focus as to what happen. This tragedy should motivate us to  take a deeper look into how we deal with people who have mental health issues that causes them to be a danger, since it seems that nothing could really be done until he committed the carnage. His college classmates were afraid of him and a college instructor tried to have him removed from his classroom several times due to his scary erratic behavior. But then, none of this is getting traction in the news, only the vitriol!
