Reasons for Voting Democratic

This is good, but I heard other comments as to why people voted Democratic. One for example among black folks is, “If Romney won, he would put us back in slavery.” Now that comes across ridiculous to me, but lot of folks in my family/friend circle really believed that about Mitt Romney. Romney’s 47% comment really did him in. His campaign managers did not do enough damage control on that one.

As far as #7 goes, I use to be a part of the Christian crowd that votes the Democratic Party while ignoring their official stand on being nothing wrong with abortion i.e. destroying an unborn baby. Being spiritually convicted on abortion is a big part of the reason as to why I now have a hard time voting that political party. It shames me that I was even okay with abortion for a time. I wonder how Christian Democrats can vote for Barack Obama who supports the killing of a baby that survives a late-term abortion! I wonder why they do not mind their tax money going to financial support of abortion!

From my experiences through Facebook interactions, reading columns and listening to voters on radio, TV, some family and friends, #9 is a pretty popular reason why Barack Obama and Democrat candidates received their votes. How often did I hear that this country was center-right? Well, according to the Nov 6 election victories, that definitely is no longer true. Too many people really think they have a right to the money of someone who is more financially successful. Too many people feel entitled to services they can’t afford on their own and have no problem with increased taxpayer support. The left side has really grown. Those of us who know better, should be very concerned, because these people are helping socialism to take a much stronger hold of this country.

Unscripted: Foot in Mouth

No, somebody else did not make that happen. Pres. Obama put his own foot in his mouth with his no teleprompter/unscripted comments about individuals not building businesses on their own. That speech was kind of strange and then not so strange, because he just let it all out i.e. that government socialist inner Obama. He is in hot water with business owners of all sizes. So now the Pres. is trying to walk it back, BTW, Pres. Obama just contradicts himself when he tries to walk it back. He is even trying to sound like he did in 2008. Back then, he projected himself as a centrist. But he did not fool me. I was suspicious of  that ‘change’ mantra.

I do not know what a respectable number of Republicans, Moderates and Independents thought when they heard and fell for his “Do you want to see fundamental change” question. Barack Obama was not all that specific about what the fundamental change was going to be. A fundamental change for our country really would have to go in the direction of fascism, socialism or communism.  We are going deeper into socialism with the Affordable Health Care Law. As the presidential election moves on, be ready for some more unscripted “foot in mouth” non free market and pro-government growing comments  from Pres. Obama.

Oh that Michael Moore! The very example of someone coming from humble beginnings to become a multimillionaire through capitalism. He would not be where he is today through his embraced socialism. He is with the Occupy Wall Street crowd/mob. Yeah, like he has been negatively affected by greedy millionaires!  How can Mr. Moore be down on capitalism, when he is the true persona of a fat-cat millionaire?

Briefly: No to Socialism in Christianity

Socialism is often being linked to Christianity. I continue to hear folks come down on Christians who do not believe in the government forced sharing of their income with the rest of the country i.e. income redistribution. The Lord commands us to give of our money and time through our free will to help others and not our government taking more and more money from paychecks. There was a lengthy time, when I felt as a Christian that it was fine and dandy for government to redistribute from other people’s income.
