A jury found Kermit Gosnell guilty of first degree murder of 3 babies who survived being aborted, and is serving 3 life sentences without the possibility of parole. I did not hear any attempts to even justify Gosnell. Those who are pro late-term abortions kept quiet. Other than Fox News reporting, the Gosnell trial did not get much national media attention. Well, despite the lack of media attentions, what happened with Gosnell really hit a nerve and there will be more investigations of late-term abortion clinics.
One very disturbing aspect is that former Republican pro-choice PA Governor, Tom Ridge (also first head of Homeland Security) enabled the activities in Gosnell’s house of horrors. When Tom Ridge was PA’s Governor, he stopped state inspections of abortion clinics. He is in hiding. Efforts by such folks as Bill O’Reilly and local radio talker, Dominic Giordano to get him to respond to the guilty verdict are futile so far. Pres. Obama kept mum on Kermit Gosnell, even though he voted as a state senator in Illinois against the Born Alive Infants Protection Act in Illinois that would protect the life of baby who survived a late-term abortion. Really, Gosnell, Tom Ridge and the Pres. appear to be on the same level when it comes to late-term abortions.
Thanks to policies of our local to national leaders, things are getting stranger and worse. For instance limitations on consuming soda, but not for underage teens purchasing the morning-after abortion pill! From a Facebook friend, here is another aspect to think about:
“Minors are prohibited from viewing pornography…..but if they mimic pornography they can purchase abortion pills at 9 years old (or younger). Guess this will be a popular purchase for those who traffic in underage prostitution….it might become the modern multi-vitamin.”

I am quite sure you recognize the first man on the right But if you do not, he is Baseball player Jackie Robinson. On this day in 1947 , the 28-year-old Jackie Robinson made his historic Brooklyn Dodgers debut. He became the first black man to play major league baseball in the 20th century.
Major League Baseball executive, Branch Rickey broke the baseball bosses’ gentleman’s agreement not to hire anyone from the negro leagues in those times. I have yet to see the movie, 42, so I do not know if they included these facts (at around 12:03 into the video) about both Mr. Ricky and Mr. Robinson. BTW, even though the entire Eric Metaxas speech in this video is not about Jackie Robinson, I highly recommend that you listen to all of it.
The actor, Harrison Ford who portrays Branch Rickey is comparing Jackie Robinson breaking the baseball color line to same-sex marriage. I definitely cannot go with such a comparison. How can anyone put a wrong sexual behavior on the same level as a person’s race? Read more here.
