Getting Even

Good advice from a Christian perspective on this Sunday afternoon, because Christians are not to get even with those who have done wrong against them. Believe me, I know that is not easy, but we are to leave it up to the Lord when it comes to consequences for the evil doer. In the book of Romans, it tells me not to return evil for evil and to overcome evil with good. See Romans 12:17-21. It will do you much good to put your energies into getting even with those who have helped you and not getting even with those who have hurt you but to even help them.

How to Beat Your Wife

You know there is a new Canadian published book for Muslim husbands on how to beat their wives.

Two Responses to the Accidental Quran Burning Apologies

Are you upset with the unaccepted apologies made over the accidental Quran burning in Afghanistan? The results of the  apologies from Pres. Obama,  Gen. John Allen and Pentagon Official, Dr. Peter Lavoy is ongoing rioting, the deaths of 2 American soldiers and the wounding of 4 other soldiers by an Afghan soldier this past Thursday. Oh! As I am doing this post, I am hearing news reports of the deaths of 2 American advisers in Kabul. Obviously there is a strong Afghan Muslim unforgivable position on accidental Quran burning.

Well, here is another apology from citizen Kira Davis. She is good. This is the best!

Now go here to hear Newt Gingrich’s EXCELLENT response to Piers Morgan. If you are on the side of not caring too much for the former Speaker of the House, this should change your mind in the affirmative. You have to give Newt Gingrich some love for his response.

Yes, Afghanistan should be giving out a ton of apologies. I am so thankful that I was not born in that country or a country that remotely resembles it.

An Individual Instance of Hate to a Black Republican

This one is for those who still feel black people politically support blacks simply because they are black. I guess they see every black as a Democrat, which is wrong. Watch this black woman, Charlotte Bergmann who is a Republican running for Congress get despicable treatment from the Memphis black talk radio host, Thaddeus Matthews. This horrible, hateful racist man would not even shake her hand, because he feared her “whiteness” would rub off on him. Ridiculous!

I received a few strong reactions of this type to my going conservative and Republican on Facebook and other online venues. While not ignoring or even running from them, I refuse to get down to their  level in my responses.

Down to 4 and the Debates Go On

In the continuing saga of the Republican presidential primary debate schedule, there are 4 more to come. At the CNN Southern Republican Presidential Debate in Florida Newt Gingrich appeared tired and a little off his game in comparison to the last 2 debates. Mitt Romney, who came in a distant second in the South Carolina Primary stayed on Newt’s heels. Mr. Romney’s biggest problem to me is the government health care he established while Governor of Massachusetts and not what he does with the money he earned. The health care thing is going to continue to dog him.

Ron Paul had a couple of good responses, but why bother?  He is not going to be the next President. Neither is Rick Santorum, although from reading tweets last night and reading and listening to the political pundits, he was the winner of the Southern Republican Presidential Debate. Mr. Santorum was strong in calling out the other candidates on their records, but as one tweeter kept tweeting, “he did not give solutions on the issues.”  As much as I like him, I think Mr. Santorum will go the way of Rick Perry, Jon Huntsman, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain in a couple of months or so.

I am somewhat shocked by conservative and Republican reaction to Newt Gingrich as a loose cannon. They are coming out of the woodwork to denounce him. Pres. Obama supporters love watching us “eat our own.” They see it as a wonderful detriment to Republicans making Pres. Obama a 1-term President. The denouncements are so disheartening, but I am paying attention to what they say, especially those who were under his House Speaker leadership.

When Wolf Blitzer asked a lightweight question dealing with why each one of their wives would a better 1st lady, the tweets were not positive for Mr. Gingrich. Here is  a part of a tweet response: “…Not a good question for an ex mistress.” You know his past marital infidelities are going to dog him for the rest of his life, but I do put more emphasis on him admitting his wrong doings and seeking the Lord’s forgiveness in weighing the pros and cons for giving him my vote. Hmm, my vote! Well, I hope the Republican primary/caucus season last long enough for my vote to count for either Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney or even a miraculous possibility of Rick Santorum.
